Celebrate Student Creativity at the 3rd Annual Student Arts Expo in St. Landry Parish!
Opelousas, LA – The 3rd Annual Student Arts Expo is set to take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Opelousas, and it promises to be a vibrant, family-friendly event filled with creativity, live performances, and hands-on art activities for all ages. This exciting festival, which is free to attend, will showcase the artistic talents of over 500 students from pre-K to 12th grade across St. Landry Parish.
Presented by the Opelousas Downtown Development District (ODDD), the Student Arts Expo will feature two stages of live performances, live painting demonstrations in Art in Action, and a wide array of interactive art activities that everyone can enjoy. The Student Artist Market will also give visitors the chance to purchase unique artwork created by local students, supporting the next generation of artists in the community.
With multiple exhibition locations surrounding Courthouse Square, the event offers something for everyone – whether you’re an art lover, a family looking for a fun day out, or someone wanting to support local youth talent.
This event is a collaborative effort between the Acadiana Center for the Arts, the St. Landry Parish School Board, and partners such as Opelousas Main Street, St. Landry Parish Tourism, and the Opelousas Downtown Development District.
