The Opelousas General Health System Foundation Healthy St Landry Alliance held their Celebrate Health Smoke Free event Saturday at South City Park. The event held from 9 a.m. to noon throughout the park had Wayne Singleton and Same Ol’ 2 Step providng the entertainment and the Makin Groceries Mobile Market, Communities of Color Mobile Unit and much more including over 25 vendors providing free health screenings as well as the OGHS Live for Life Health Fair.
