What: Opelousas General Health System 18 th Annual Pink Luncheon and Breast Cancer Survivor Style Show.
When: Friday, October 24, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
Where: Evangeline Downs Event Center, 2235 Creswell Lane Ext., Opelousas, LA.
Guests will hear from Megan Begnaud, breast cancer survivor and advocate for breast cancer awareness. She
will share her journey of discovering a breast cancer diagnosis one week before her 30 th birthday. Opelousas
natives Jazmin Thibodeaux and Ian Auzenne will serve as co-emcees. Beautiful breast cancer survivors will be
featured modeling attire from JC Penney.
Immediately following the luncheon, guests (ticket holders) will enjoy an exhilarating, fun-filled after party
with musical entertainment provided by Acadiana sensation, Eric Gautreaux!
Opelousas General Health System is proud to promote the importance of women’s health, education and
availability of breast screening services. 2025 marks the 18-year anniversary of providing free year-long
mammograms to women who are underinsured and cannot afford one.
