Opelousas Pregnancy Center Announces 2025 Be the Spark of Joy Gala

Opelousas, LA – September 20, 2025 – The Opelousas Pregnancy Center is honored to announce its annual Be the Spark of Joy Gala, taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Our Savior’s Church Opelousas Campus. This year’s theme, Be the Spark of Joy, is rooted in the truth that real and lasting joy is found in Christ alone. As Psalm 16:11 reminds us: “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

The Be the Spark of Joy Gala is more than a fundraising event—it is a celebration of the life-giving hope that Christ offers, and a reminder that every life is a gift worth rejoicing over. Guests will experience an uplifting evening filled with powerful testimonies, a delicious dinner provided by Brent’s Catering, and opportunities to partner in the life-saving mission of OPC.

“True joy isn’t found in our circumstances, but in Christ who walks with us through them,” said Katie Roy, Executive Director of the Opelousas Pregnancy Center.“At this year’s gala, we will celebrate the joy of new beginnings, restored families, and a community that chooses to uplift, love, and support one another. Every act of generosity, every prayer, every life saved is a spark of that joy.”

Individual tickets, reserved tables, and sponsorship opportunities are now available. Funds raised at the gala will directly benefit the Center’s free services, including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting classes, baby supplies, and ongoing spiritual and practical support for families.
