March is Women’s History Month – a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society.
No organization in Opelousas has more to celebration than the GFWC Opelousas Woman’s Club. And they intend to celebrate Women’s History Month in a special way.
“Celebrating Women Who Tell our Stories” will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Opelousas Woman’s Club, 316 West Bellevue Street in Opelousas.
At that time the club will celebrate a century’s history of civic work and accomplishments in Opelousas. The celebration will also explore what the future holds for the 100+ year old club and for the Opelousas community.
Mark you calendar for Thursday, March 16th at 6PM. Wine and Hors D’oeuvres will be served.
