Parish President Jessie Bellard Announces Christmas Turkey Giveaway
in Partnership with Benny’s Supermarket
ST. LANDRY PARISH – The St. Landry Parish President Jessie Bellard, in partnership with
Benny’s Supermarket, will host a Christmas Turkey Giveaway on Thursday, December 18th,
beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Benny’s Supermarket parking lot, located at 806 South Union
Street, Opelousas, LA.
The turkey giveaway is made possible through the support and leadership of Parish President
Jessie Bellard, who remains committed to assisting families during the holiday season.
To receive a turkey, participants must spend at least $30 at Benny’s Supermarket on the day
of the event and present a valid same-day receipt. Turkeys will be distributed by St. Landry
Parish Government staff in Benny’s parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies
last.
“This partnership with Benny’s allows us to help local families enjoy a holiday meal during a
time when many are facing increased costs and challenges,” said Parish President Bellard. “We
are grateful for the opportunity to give back and support our community together.”
Residents are encouraged to arrive early and follow on-site instructions for safe and efficient
distribution.
