Tour guide Claire S. White gives the history of Alphonse “Bois Sec” Ardoin to Port Barre Headstart students touring the St. Landry Parish Tourist and Information Wednesday. In conjunction with Black History Month St. Landry Parish Headstart students will be touring points of interest including the Opelousas Museum and Interpretive Center and Le Vieux Vilage.
