Queen of Angels Holy Week

Our Lady Queen Of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas began a Holy Week observance on Palm Sunday with an annual procession that led by first communion candidates from the parking lot into the church, followed by a high mass celebrated by Monsignor Keith DeRouen.
After mass those attending mass were treated to a variety of foods and fellowship at the annual church Family Fun Day held in the church parking lot.
The church will host a number of designated Holy Week observances that include::
Wednesday (April 1) – Easter confessions from 4 pm – 5:30 pm
Thursday (April 2) – Holy Thursday mass at 6 pm
Friday (April 3 ) – The Lord’s Passion observance at 3 pm
Saturday (April 4 ) – Easter Vigil Mass at 8 pm
