Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “Within the last month, Narcotics
Detectives have investigated the trafficking of Fentanyl and Crystal
Methamphetamine throughout St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. This
investigation has resulted in the seizure of approximately 20 ounces of
suspected Fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $112,000.00 and 27
ounces of Crystal Methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of
$75,000.00. Our Detectives have also seized $1,954.00 in United States
Currency.” Sheriff Guidroz concludes, “We will remain unrelenting in our
investigations, arrests, seizures of narcotics and the monetary proceeds.”
