Ina Clair Drive Homicide

The Opelousas Police Department returns to Crime Stoppers and asks
for your help in solving a homicide in the city.
During the early morning hours of September 22, 2022, officers with
the Opelousas Police Department responded to a shooting on Ina Clair
Drive. Three homes had been struck by gunfire and a victim was
transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. The victim
was visiting with friends and was leaving when his vehicle was fired
upon. The victim’s vehicle was a white Kia with a Texas temporary
license and was later found at the Magic Wand Car Wash in Opelousas
with multiple bullet holes.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500.00 cash reward through our
enhanced reward program for an arrest in this case.
