9-24-25 Theft Spree Weekend
The Criminal Investigations Division comes to Crime Stoppers and asks
your help in solving a rash of thefts over the weekend.
Starting at about 4:30 pm on September 21 st , numerous thefts
involving 4- wheelers and generators was reported from Jennings
Road, to the Port Barre area and the Frilot Cove area. A total of four
Honda 4-wheelers and two generators have been stolen, with one of
the generators located abandoned along the Tower Access Road. The
entire C.I.D. staff are attempting to obtain video in and around these
areas. If you are contacted relative to this, please cooperate and
report any and all suspicious activity or vehicles seen in these areas
this past weekend. No detail is too small; any information is always
better than none. St. Landry Crime Stoppers will pay for information
that leads to an arrest in these cases.
