The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office comes to Crime Stoppers
and asks you help in locating a suspect involved in a significant
theft from a local business.
On February 6, 2025, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office
received a report of a theft at Air Exchange, LLC located at 129
Briscoe Road, Opelousas. The owner, who keeps well-
documented inventories of his tools and equipment, provided
a list of stolen items totaling over $ 2,400.00 in value. Video
footage was obtained that allowed the owner and a witness
to identify Evan Cade Fontenot as the employee who removed
the tools and parts from the premises. An arrest warrant has
been obtained for Fontenot for Theft Over $1,000.00 which
constitutes a felony violation, if found guilty.
