St. Landry Parish Tourist Commission Board Vacancies
An opportunity to serve on the St. Landry Parish Tourist Commissionis available. The commission is a political subdivision of the state that works with local accommodations, attractions, restaurants, and other industry partners to promote the heritage and culture of the parish. As a board volunteer, you’d meet with the other commissioners on the second Wednesday of the month at the St. Landry Parish Visitor Center to review policy, finances, and programming. Get your applications to Council Clerk Sherrell Jordon at the St. Landry Parish Courthouse. You’ll need a background check (which can be done for free at the Parish Jail across the street if you bring in your application), your driver’s license, and the application itself. Their hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Try to get your applications in before the end of January.Download an ApplicationLearn More about the Commission
