Students Celebrate Opening of New Pickleball Courts at South City Park, May 19,
beginning at 9:45 am.
Baton Rouge, La. – Students from Creswell Middle School will participate in a field day
celebration marking the opening of newly constructed pickleball courts at South City Park. The
courts are part of a broader community investment to promote healthy lifestyles and expand
recreational opportunities for local youth.
With $150,000 in funding support from Louisiana Healthcare Connections, the park
enhancements aim to encourage physical activity, social engagement, and long-term wellness.
The courts are expected to serve students from area schools, youth sports leagues, and
community members of all ages.
