St. Landry Parish School Superintendent Milton Batiste III announced several key personnel appointees during a Thursday night meeting.

Batiste told board members that Jerome Robinson has been appointed assistant superintendent and athletic director for the district.

Robinson, pictured (at left) with Batiste, was formerly child attendance supervisor for the District before moving to Lafayette Parish for two years to serve is a similar position and oversee some aspects of school administration.

In addition Batiste said that Gregory Campbell, formerly principal at Northwest High, will be the new principal at Opelousas High.

Irma Trosclair, Batiste said, has been selected as the new principal and zone leader at Eunice High.

Trosclair will continue as superintendent for the Lafayette School District for the next several weeks before starting her employment in St. Landry, Batiste said.
