The Bobby Dupre Welcome Center at the Veterans Memorial will feature a
“Tree of Life”—a heartfelt tribute honoring our heroes. Families are invited to place a
patriotic ornament or a military photo of their loved one on the tree as a symbol of
remembrance, gratitude, and love.

Pictured is Rose Dufilho Hollier, a monument volunteer who places the photo-ornament of her late husband Edwin Hollier, U.S. Army 1958-1961. Hollier died in 2019 and his memory lives on through his family and their services to the St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial.
