Thursday, December 5

Eunice Christmas Festival at the Eunice Community Garden from 5-7pm.

Eunice Community Choir Concert “Star of Bethlehem” will be performing Thursday and Friday at First Baptist Church of Eunice.

Christmas At Coteau in Grand Coteau at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Friday December 6 and Saturday, December 7. It’s time to get your Christmas list done!

Saturday, December 7
The Guillory Family Toy Drive will be held at 633 E. Landry Street in Opelousas between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Santa will be there and there will be refreshments. You can contribute toys or money to help buy toys; they are collected and distributed to churches, schools and agencies. All administrative costs are covered by Elbert Guillory.

Tuesday, December 10

A Cajun Christmas Celebration

Mr. Tony’s Country Store invites you to celebrate the holiday season with our Cajun Christmas celebration. Join us on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for an afternoon of holiday cheer, local flavor, and festive fun! Mr. Tony’s Country Store is located right outside Tony Chachere’s manufacturing plant at 5604 I-49 N. Service Road in Opelousas, Louisiana and is the perfect place to get in the holiday spirit.

Christmas in the Point at Church Point Central Park
Mayor Ryan ‘Spanky’ Meche invites everyone to experience “Christmas in The Point at Central Park” with new light up displays for 2024, a 30-foot lighted Christmas tree, drive-thru candy cane lane and more! The historic Le Vieux Presbytere Museum and our fishing pond are lit up for the season too! You can drive thru ‘Candy Cane Lane’ to experience our Christmas cheer or take a walk in the park. Christmas In The Point @ Central Park is FREE and open to the public from 5p-11p Sunday – Thursday and 5p til Midnight Friday and Saturday!

The 4th Annual nighttime Christmas Parade is Wednesday Dec. 11th, at 6 pm! Our parade features floats, lights, music, and fun. Following the parade, we will have Christmas Movies in the park! Food and drink vendors will be on-site too!

December 12

Opelousas Children’s Christmas Parade – at 6pm

Eunice Parade of Lights – parade starts at 6pm then Christmas on Park will take place immediately following with hot chocolate, food and snow! From 6:45-8pm

December 14

Breakfast with Santa in Krotz Springs – 8am

Christmas in Washington
On December 14, on Main Street: live music, DJs, kids games, face painting, balloon artists from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Santa arrives at 1 p.m. and the Christmas Tree lighting is at 7 p.m.
