VOLUNTEERS Needed to Help Maintain St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial
The St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial honors the brave men and women who have served our
country. Maintaining this special place is a year-round responsibility, and the Memorial is cared for
entirely by volunteers.
We are asking individuals and groups throughout St. Landry Parish to help preserve and
beautify the Memorial. Volunteers are needed to:
- Adopt and maintain flower beds – Help care for benches and memorial walls
- Assist with general landscaping and cleanup – Support ongoing upkeep throughout the year
We welcome participation from:
Civic organizations – Girl Scouts and Eagle Scouts – School clubs and student organizations - Veterans’ organizations – Families and individuals – Churches, businesses, and other
community groups
Whether you can volunteer regularly or help with an occasional project, your support will make a
meaningful difference. By working together, we can ensure that the St. Landry Parish Veterans
Memorial remains a beautiful, respectful place to honor those who served and sacrificed for our
freedom.
Your time, talents, and dedication are greatly appreciated. Together, we can preserve this important
memorial for our veterans, their families, and future generations.
