Lena Charles, Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Festival chairperson, gives an update on the upcoming festival to St. Landry Parish council members during their monthly meeting Wednesday at the Old City Market. The annual event will be held Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Yambilee Building.
