The St. Landry Federation of Democratic Women will host its annual “Meet and Greet Democratic Candidates Event” on Thursday, October 20, 2022. This event will be held at the Opelousas Civic Center on 1638 Creswell Lane in Opelousas, LA.
The purpose of this event is to give democratic candidates the opportunity to educate voters of St. Landry Parish on the philosophy and issues of their platforms. In addition, voters will have the opportunity to have small group Q&A sessions with participating candidates.
All Democratic Candidates are invited to participate. Each confirmed candidate will be assigned a station to display their campaign paraphernalia and to meet their constituents.
The public is invited and encouraged to come out and meet the candidates for the November 2022 election. There will also be an opportunity to register to vote on-site. Refreshments will be served.
