It was a Mardi Gras event Friday as Oak Lane Wellness and Rehabilitation Center played homage to nurses at their Mardi Gras Bash held at the Eunice Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall. Twenty area nursing homes were represented at the event which included a delicious lunch and live musical entertainment. Special guest speakers included Stl Landry Parish President Jessie Bellard, Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot and Eunice City Marshal Terry Darbonne.
