While the North Central boys’ and girls’ basketball teams appear to have won separate District 5-1A championships, several other St. Landry Parish schools remain in contention for league titles.

North Central, Beau Chene and Northwest High are undefeated among the St. Landry Parish boys teams in league play, while Opelousas Catholic is 4-1. The Vikings will probably finish the season as the 5-1A runner-up behind North Central (4-0 in district games).
