Opelousas High School’s Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2023, starting at 5:00 PM and concluding at approximately 7:00 PM. The parade will begin at Opelousas City Hall on North St., proceeding down Main St. to Burteaud St., and concluding at South City Park.
We encourage the community to come out in full support to watch the parade and cheer on the Opelousas High School Tigers as they progress through the route. We anticipate congestion along the parade route between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM. For the safety of all, we urge people who are not parade spectators to avoid traveling the roads in this area if possible.
On Friday, October 13, 2023, the Opelousas High Tigers will battle Livonia High School at Donald Gardner Stadium to conclude Homecoming Week festivities. Kick-off time is at 7:00 PM. We urge everyone to prioritize safety before, during, and after both events. We are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
