According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, “On October 25, 2022, narcotics detectives with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted an undercover investigation within St. Landry Parish. During the investigation, detectives made contact with Michael Anthony Guillory and arranged to buy a half of an ounce of fentanyl, for the purchase price of $850.00.”
Detectives agreed to meet with Michael Guillory at a prearranged location and Michael Guillory arrived at the location in a black Ford F-350. Detectives placed Michael Anthony Guillory under arrest for outstanding warrants in Iberia Parish for the following charges:
- Disarming a Peace Officer (2 counts);
- Resisting Arrest by Violence (2 counts);
- Battery on an Officer (2 counts); and
- Unauthorized Entry of Inhabited Dwelling.
Upon searching Michael Guillory, detectives located 6.3 grams of suspected heroin, 13.4 grams of suspected fentanyl, one gram of “crack” cocaine, a suspected ecstasy pill, a suspected soma pill and $940.00 in US currency.
The estimated street value of the illegal narcotics located on Michael Guillory is $4,000.00.
Narcotics detectives had prior knowledge of Michael Guillory and his involvement with the
distribution of fentanyl and heroin within the St. Landry Parish area.
On October 25, 2022, Michael Anthony Guillory was transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (fentanyl), possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS (heroin), possession of schedule II CDS (“crack” cocaine), possession of schedule I CDS (ecstasy), possession of schedule II CDS (soma), and transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.
