St. Landry Economic Development (SLED) is excited to invite you to Manufacturing Day 2025, taking place on Friday, October 3rd, across St. Landry Parish.
This event, part of the national Manufacturing Day celebration, will highlight the importance of manufacturing to our local economy while inspiring the next generation of skilled workers.
Event Objective
Manufacturing Day aims to show students from across St. Landry Parish that manufacturing can be a fun, rewarding, and high-tech career path—all while strengthening connections between local businesses, schools, and the community.
“We want the students to see that manufacturing isn’t just about building things. It’s using cool technology, solving problems, and creating products people use every day. These jobs can pay well, and they’re right here in our community.”
