BARRICADED SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
Sheriff Bobby Guidroz of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is confirming that the St.
Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT, in addition to the Louisiana State Police and the
Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, have been working a barricaded suspect in the
Port Barre area this evening, and the shooter is now in custody.
No other details are being released as this is an ongoing investigation.
The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office would like to extend their gratitude to Louisiana State
Police and Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for their assistance.
