St. Landry Preservationist member James Douget gave a brief history of the home believed to be the oldest structure in St. Landry Parish. This French Colonial house built in the late 1700s is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Following a tour of the home by SLP Preservationist Etha Amling refreshments were served in the historic dining area.
