RE: Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)
Business Leaders,
Every five years the Acadiana Planning Commission updates its Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) with critical input from its elected leadership, economic development leaders and community leaders. This is done on behalf of the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration. It serves as a regional strategic plan for most federal agencies when considering grants and priorities. As part of the CEDS Strategic Planning Process, we would like for you to complete two surveys online. Your answers will be used to help develop Acadiana’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.
The survey is part of our required SWOT analysis. It will help set the context of which our strategic conversations will flow. Your responses will help provide a baseline understanding of where the Acadiana region has leverage, challenges, vulnerabilities, and constraints.
