The program supporting local restaurants is set to launch in 2022
Allons Manger! Let’s eat! St. Landry Parish Tourism, the official Destination Marketing Organization for the parish, is launching Allons Manger, a new rewards program that aims to support local restaurants.
The passport is free for restaurants to participate and for diners to enjoy. We want as many local restaurants included within the passport as we can to showcase the best of St. Landry Parish in an easy, mobile-friendly way.
Conversations around helping local restaurants recover from recent hardships pointed St. Landry Parish Tourism to reach out to a well-known technology company in the travel space, Bandwango. Bandwango technology is designed to support free and paid experiences created by destinations and marketed to visitors and locals.
Using this technology, St. Landry Parish Tourism began working alongside local businesses to get their offerings loaded into the Allons Manger passport.
“It is similar to Eat Lafayette in a way,” marketing director, Sarah Wise, who has been the liaison between Bandwango and St. Landry Parish Tourism. “Likening it to that program has made it easier to connect with local restaurants who might be hesitant to participate at first.”
Diners can use Allons Manger easily:
· Provide your name, email, and phone number.
· A link will automatically add the website to your home screen.
· No need to download anything.
· After a restaurant purchase, use the PIN from the register to earn points.
· Use points to redeem prizes.
Merchant onboarding is still in progress. Restaurants wishing to be a part of the pass can email britt@bandwango.com or sarah.wise@cajuntravel.com to access personal assistance with onboarding. They can also call 337-948-8004 for more information.
Restaurants can expect to hear from St. Landry Parish Tourism or Bandwango soon. The pass is expected to launch later this year. Get ready for more customers to “Allons Manger!”
