The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Opelousas held a Celebration of New Ministry and Installation of Reverend Laurent De Prins on February 15, 2023. The following photo gallery, with photographs by Lee Gardner, is from the celebration and installation.
Center row, left: The vestry presents the Rev. Laurent De Prins to the Rt. Rev. Jacob W. Owensby as their new rector stating that he is well qualified, and that he has been prayerfully and lawfully selected; Center: The Rev. Laurent De Prins kneels in the midst of the church and recites a prayer in the midst of the congregation to conclude the induction; Left:The altar after communion as the congregation sings “Lead Me,Guide Me” and “Let us break the bread together” before the the final blessing.
