A Life Parade is set for Saturday, July 30th at 10:00 AM in Opelousas.
Parade goers are asked to meet at the St Landry Parish Courthouse in downtown Opelousas at 10am, pray and sing a little, then parade down Court Street to South City Park where the kids can play, folks can grill, and celebrate the goodness of God!
According to event organizer Stuart K. Amidon: “We’ve got a lot of work left to do, but we will celebrate the goodness of the Lord and draw strength from it to finish the work he has set before us!”
Amidon tells anyone interested to “bring a grill, some meat, a lawn chair or two, and come party! All are welcome to come celebrate with us!”
