South City Park was abuzz with activity as it hosted the 10th annual Autism Awareness Family Fun Day. Organaizer Melissa Hall and her volunteers once again put on a fun day that included prizes, a petting zoo, fun jumps, face painting, games and of course a variety of delicious foods. April is Autism Acceptance Month to raise awareness to promote autism acceptance, celebrate neurodiversity and individual differences, and continue to advance inclusivity and connectedness throughout the community. It’s also a time to renew our commitment to honor the unique lived experiences of people with autism. See a photo gallery of the event at stlandrynow.com
