LANDRY PARISH, LA — Following a review of recent rainfall and guidance from the National Weather Service, which indicates that the present fire risk has dropped to below normal and is classified as “low,” St. Landry Parish Government officially announces its decision to lift the parish-wide burn ban, effective November 16, 2023.
