St. Landry Chamber of Commerce to Host Annual Banquet Horses and Harmony
Opelousas, LA – September 2, 2025 – The St. Landry Chamber of Commerce will host
its Annual Banquet, Horses and Harmony, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 6:00
p.m. at the Yambilee Building in Opelousas. The banquet stands as one of the
Chamber’s most significant events of the year, gathering business leaders, elected
officials, and community partners to celebrate progress and honor excellence across St.
Landry Parish.
Presented by St. Landry Bank and Trust and hosted by St. Landry Parish Government,
the evening will feature live entertainment by Jeffery Broussard and the Creole
Cowboys, sponsored by St. Landry Parish Tourism, and dinner prepared by Benny’s.
Event sponsors include Stark Extermination, Acadian Ambulance, Washington State
Bank, and Catalyst Bank.
A central feature of the banquet will be the presentation of awards recognizing
outstanding contributions to the business and cultural community. These include:

Horseman of the Year
Musician of the Year
“These recognitions represent the very best of St. Landry Parish—businesses,
nonprofits, and individuals who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and a deep
commitment to our community,” said Lori Dupuis of the St. Landry Chamber of
Commerce.
Tickets are available for $65 per person, and sponsorship opportunities remain open
through Friday, September 5, 2025.
“The Annual Banquet is not only a celebration of economic achievement but also a
reflection of the spirit of collaboration that defines our parish,” Dupuis added. “It is an
evening dedicated to honoring those who contribute to our progress and cultural
heritage while looking forward to continued growth.”
