A family reunion Jubilee takes place July 11—13; the event is being held for the descendants of Clophat
Broussard and Althea Dargin and Santon Thierry and Thomasine Guillory.
The gathering will begin with a champagne brunch at the Opelousas Museum, 315 N Main St, Opelousas on
Friday, July 11. There will be a debut of a short movie about the Broussard Dargin Thierry Guillory genealogy,
and then a short slideshow on the history of Saint Ann Catholic Church in Mallet from 1856 to the present.
Weekend activities include a picnic and tour of the Saint Ann Cemetery in Mallet as well as a mass and tour a
family graves at Saint Charles Borromeo graveyard.
