Three-Mile Lake Celebration

The July 4 weekend was capped Saturday on Three-Mile Lake with the annual Regatta celebration which featured a flotilla and boat parade.
Residents of the Three-Mile area off U.S. 190 east of Port Barre staged the event which featured judging, food and friendship that saluted the birthday of America.
The weekend sponsored by the Three-Mile Owners Association also featured a Friday night fireworks display.
Boats began their launch just before midday on Saturday and the parade continued throughout the rest of the afternoon.
