Homecoming Pranks Could Result in Criminal Charges

Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz advises, “With Homecoming season comes a tradition of pranks
among fellow class members and friends. While many of these acts are harmless, there are
those that commit acts of vandalism and destruction of property. When these are reported to
law enforcement, we will investigate and take the necessary action.”
To avoid the trouble associated with these potentially criminal acts, parents should remind their
children of the risks and provide ways to keep everyone safe.
