Important Election Information

Opelousas, Louisiana – Early Voting for the March 29, 2025 Election will be held from March
15 – March 22, with the exception of Sundays, from 8:30 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. Early Voting in
Opelousas will return to the courthouse for this election!!

The ballot items for this election consist of four Constitutional Amendments and a tax renewal
for Fire District 3.
The deadline for anyone to register or make changes in-person and by mail is February 26,
2025, and March 8, 2025 is the deadline for any electronic registrations and/or changes. The
deadline to request an absentee-by-mail ballot is March 25, 2025 (other than Military and
Overseas).
