Members of the Opelousas Woman’s Club were recognized by the Mayor and Opelousas Board of Aldermen at Tuesday’s city council meeting where a proclamation was made proclaiming March as National Women’s History Month. The Opelousas Woman’s Club recognizes the collective efforts of women throughout our community who lead, empower, educate, mentor and collobrate to enrich the lives of others. The OWC invites everyones to their clubhouse on Thursday, March 20, beginning at 6 pm to celebrate all women and their contributions to our community’s history, The OWCs clubhouse is located at 316 Bellevue Street.
