EVENT AT THE EUNICE COMMUNITY GARDEN
THE WEEKS OF APRIL 15TH-26TH FOR LOVE THE BOOT
Love the Boot Week, April 20-28, 2024, is Louisiana’s Largest Litter Cleanup
Organized by Keep Louisiana Beautiful
EUNICE, LA — During the weeks of April15th- 26th, St. Landry Bank will host a beautification
project at the Eunice Community Garden and Food Farmacy as part of Love the Boot Week,
Louisiana’s largest litter cleanup effort held in conjunction with Earth Week, April 20-28, 2024.
Love the Boot Week is organized by Keep Louisiana Beautiful and supported by the Office of
the Lieutenant Governor.
St. Landry Bank and Trust Company has partnered with Eunice Community Garden and Food
Farmacy to accomplish a beautification project consisting of painting a mural on the fence of a
play area within the Eunice Community Garden. Over the course of two weeks, staff from our
Main Branch in Opelousas as well as Eunice Branch plan to prime and paint a mural of hope on
the fence that borders the north side of a rock play area in the sensory garden.
