Opelousas Alderman-at-Large Marvin Richard along with Med Express Ambulance Service and local volunteers for the 13th year are making a Merry Christmas for needy families in the Opelousas area. On Friday Richard and volunteers gathered at Med Express to load boxes of toys that will be delivered to needy children in order for them to have a Merry Christmas. When asked why he does this every year his answer was simple. “I do it for love of my fellow man,” Assisting with the deliverey of the toys were members of the Opelousas Police Department and the City Marshal’s office.
