Saturday was a good day to be in Washington for the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the town’s newest restaurant. Mayor Dwight Landreneau was joined by well wishers as he cut the ribbon officially announcing the grand opening of Richard’s Soul Kitchen where the joyous occasion began at 11 a.m. continuing throughout the day with music provided by DJ JGoo. The restaurant, located at 529 St. Landry Veterans Memorial Highway. is owned by Marvin Richard
