Two events on Saturday, Nov.1 paid honor to veterans in advance of Veterans Day held on November 11. Dorothy Thomas, Rose Minix and Annie LaFontaine sponsored a flag raising ceremony and veterans breakfast at the Farmers Market followed by a parade that rolled down Landry Street.
