5. Discuss the funds that were made from the Barbecue Festival.
   (Councilman Timmy Lejeune).
6. Discuss having the attorney research the law in regards to issuing permits.
   (Councilwoman Mildred Thierry).
7. Authorize the Council Clerk to advertise for two appointments for a four-year term to
   Eunice Gravity Drainage District No. 9 of Evangeline and St. Landry Parishes.
   (10-02-2025 – 10-02-2029).
8. Forward to full council RESOLUTION NO. 020-2025- Resolution to participate in the
   opioid lawsuit settlement with Alvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior, Mylan, Sun,
   and Zydus.
9. Forward to full council RESOLUTION NO. 021-2025- Resolution to participate in the
   opioid lawsuit settlement with Purdue Pharma – Sackler Family Direct Settlement.
10. Forward to full council RESOLUTION NO. 022-2025 – Resolution to participate in the
    opioid lawsuit settlement with Sandoz, Inc.
11. Discuss any other business properly brought before this committee.
