Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile (Felony)
Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reports, “This incident was reported on August 19, 2025 to the Acadia
Parish Sheriff’s Office. After the initial investigation, it was learned that the acts perpetrated by
Mauldin occurred in St. Landry Parish and on December 4, 2025 the investigation was turned
over to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. The investigation by our Juvenile Detectives
uncovered sexual acts with a juvenile under the age of 17. Crimes of this nature often leave
devastating psychological and emotional problems. We pray for peace and recovery to all those
affected.”
