Lovers of Zydeco music were in their element Saturday as they attended the 41st annual Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Festival in the air conditioned comfort of the Yamatorium. Headliners like Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band kept the crowd on the dance floor beginning at noon Saturday until the closing act, special guest Chris Ardoin and NuStep Zydeco. Prior to the fesstival there was a Zydeco breakfast and Zydeco parade leading to the Yambilee grounds.
