Memorial Day Ceremony (presented by St. Landry Parish Memorial Park)

The theme, “We Must Never Forget” pay tribute to those men and women who gave the
ultimate sacrifice in defense of our Country. Each name of those who gave the ultimate
sacrifice in defense of freedom will be called during “Roll Calls” from each war:
- WW I
- WW II
- Korean
- Vietnam
- Iraq/Afghanistan
Gold Star Mothers and Family members will also be recognized and honored.
The ceremony will conclude with a motorcade from the Yambilee Building to the Veterans
Memorial on Hwy 182 South with a 21 Gun Salute, raising of the Flag at 1200 hour,
followed by Taps.
