According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, “On July 25, 2022, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at 324 Henry Drive in Opelousas after receiving multiple complaints of drug trafficking from the residence.”
Narcotics detectives located and identified two black males and one black female, later identified as Terald Hudson, Tyrone Johnson and Linda Spencer, all of whom reside at the residence. During a search of the residence, detectives located and seized $33,967.00 U.S. Currency, an ounce of cocaine, a black and silver Smith & Wesson .40 caliber, a .22 caliber rifle with a altered barrel and stock, a Revocation .22 caliber rifle, a Raven .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun, a High Point 9mm carbine, a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle and a Norinco SKS rifle. The Bushmaster AR-15 was reported stolen.
On July 26, 2022, Tyrone Johnson was transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (cocaine), possession with intent to distribute schedule III CDS (hydrocodone), transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses,
possession of a stolen firearm, 3 counts of possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS and
prohibition of the possession of a firearm by a person against whom a protective order is ordered.
Tyrone Johnson was previously arrested on March 8, 2018 and was charged with domestic abuse battery by strangulation and aggravated kidnapping. On March 12, 2019, he was sentenced with 2 years hard labor on each count, which were suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
Additionally, Tyrone Johnson has an active protective order against him at this time.
On July 26, 2022, Terald Hudson was transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (cocaine), possession with intent to distribute schedule III CDS (hydrocodone), possession of schedule II CDS (“crack” cocaine), possession of schedule IV CDS (xanax), possession of drug paraphernalia, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, and 3 counts of possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS.
On July 26, 2022, Linda Spencer was transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (cocaine), 3 counts of possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, possession of a rifle with a barrel shorter than 16 inches, and possession of schedule IV CDS (xanax).
