Port Barre FFA held their second annual Black Pot Cook-Off in Veteran’s Memorial Park on Saturday. The event kicked off with a Jeep/Motorcycle Run and showcased cars and jeeps in a car show, a silent auction with handmade projects, local vendors with handmade goods and, of course, great food from booths who put their weekend culinary skills to the test.
A selection of various dishes ranging from gravies and stews to crawfish etouffees and more were prepared for sampling and judging.
