A whole lot of camaraderie was taking place Thursday morning as the parishoners from the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Opelousas held their annual chicken salad sandwich sale. The early risers began just after daybreak preparing around 2300 sandwiches to be distributed to area businesses.The annual sale which has been ongoing for over 100 plus years always takes place the first week in November and is the main fundraiser for the church.
